The time has come once again for you and your family to consider adopting pets, while at the same time saving lives and helping the Humane Society of Harlingen Clear the Shelters! The annual adoption event is happening Aug. 23 through Sep. 18 in conjunction with participating South Texas animal shelters.
HSH is offering a few exciting promotions following the adoption event:
For Fosters
1. A voucher for a free spay/neuter surgery will be given to anyone who can foster one of our individual shelter pets (or a whole litter) for a minimum of 3 weeks.
2. If any of those foster parents are able to find an adopter for their foster pet during that 3 week period, HSH will also grant that foster parent 1 year of free vaccines for any one of their owned pets at our monthly wellness clinics.
For Adopters
1. Every person who adopts from HSH today through September 19th will receive 1 year of free vaccines for their newly adopted pet!
2. Additionally, each adopter will be automatically entered into a raffle for a year’s worth of free flea/tick prevention for their newly adopted pet!
The medication and vaccines are offered each month at our drive-thru wellness clinic. 25 names will be drawn and announced on the evening of September 19th.
Litters of kittens or puppies, as well as nursing cats or dogs cannot be separated into individual animals for purposes of fostering. The whole group must go into foster together and will count for one voucher. If any adopted pets are returned, the free vaccine promotion is non-transferable to other pets.
