HSH Virtual Foster Program

What's a "virtual foster program?" Great question!

Regular fosters bring an animal home with them, providing the benefits of stress relief and extra TLC while opening a space at the shelter.

Virtual fostering provides stress relief and extra TLC, as well - it's kind of like "day fostering." Virtual fosters visit the shelter to take their pets out for walks or a day trip or even a one-night sleepover - it's really up to you!

Another benefit is adoption promotion - part of virtual fostering is telling everyone about your cool new foster pet project... post about it online, talk about it at work, and even raise funds to help pay for your foster pet's care. Anything you can do to help your foster pet find a permanent home makes a difference.
